In 1927, ‘The Jazz Singer’ sent the cinema-going public into a frenzy! It heralded the end of the silent movie era and the birth of the ‘talkies’.
It is now 1929, and stars from the American and British film industry have been encouraged to make the journey down under. Together with existing Australian talent, they set a date to commence filming ‘Showgirl’s Luck’ - the first Australian talkie. The silent movie is set to be dead forever... and so would some of the stars!
Enjoy a delicious three course dinner as you question the suspects, decipher the clues and work to crack the case… before the credits roll!
