MURDER ON THE INDIAN PACIFIC!

Embark the revered Indian Pacific for a transcontinental rail journey across Australia enhanced by a bespoke 1920s murder mystery event, exclusive to Imagine Holidays guests!

Join crime writer Jonathon Mapletree and a cast of suspicious characters as you solve this mystery. Travel back in time to the Roaring Twenties: an era when arts and culture flourished, flapper women flouted Prohibition laws and the sound of Jazz filled the air. Life is good – except there is a murderer in our midst – and it’s your job to uncover them.

Step into a world of mystery and adventure from the moment you board the magnificent Indian Pacific and unleash your inner Sherlock Holmes on an unforgettable holiday traversing across the expanses of Australia.

On board you’ll be immersed in an Agatha Christie-style murder mystery complete with interactive characters, clues, evidence and a fiendishly clever plot. Experience glamour, luxury, thrills and excitement as you piece together clues and reject red herrings from professional actors as you work to correctly unmask the murderer in your mist – and work out ‘whodunnit?’.

DAY ONE:
As you step on board the elegant Indian Pacific in East Perth, you’ll be greeted by welcoming staff and the group of actors that will join you for your murder mystery themed cross-country adventure. You’ll be given a special ‘Murder Mystery’ box and will have the afternoon to get to know the actors on board before they join you for dinner and set the scene for the murderous behaviour that is about to ensue! As the views transform before your eyes, get ready for your first Off Train Experience in the wild west town of Kalgoorlie-Boulder.

DAY TWO:
Waking to the vast horizons and blue skies of the Nullarbor Plain, you’ll be alerted to the news that deadly goings have taken place overnight. After a leisurely breakfast, you'll be informed of the murder mystery challenges that await today and will step off the train for a short stop in Cook. Once a bustling railway community - but now effectively a ghost town - Cook provides a new meaning to the expression ‘the middle of nowhere’. Its eerie surroundings present the perfect backdrop for anyone with a motive for murder… Later in the evening you’ll enjoy a theatrical dining experience giving you an opportunity to play detective one final time, naming your prime suspect before the killer is unmasked!

You are invited to dress in the style of the period, as you work together to solve the mystery.
